Femi
Fani Kayode was cleared of money laundering allegations brought
against him by the Economic and Financial crimes commission. A judge
found him not guilty of money laundering and threw out the case
The judge,
Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, freed Fani-Kayode after holding that “the
prosecution case is feeble” and had failed to prove the allegations
against the accused person beyond reasonable doubt.
